So far, so good. It looks nice and better matches my white case. It is more comfortable and quieter than a mechanical keyboard, and is closer to what i wanted, which was a standard keyboard that was backlit. Gaming is secondary and computer work is first. It has enough patterns for me, and you can swith it to monotone colors, that are bright yet calming and beautiful to look at. This was also the least expensive anywhere as well.

The redragon k512 is a solid keyboard with a lot to offer, especially for macro lovers. The dedicated “g” macro keys on the sides are great for customizing shortcuts and boosting productivity. However, they take some getting used to. I often find myself accidentally hitting g6 instead of ctrl or g1 instead of esc. It’s a minor annoyance at first, but muscle memory kicks in with time. The rgb lighting is vibrant, the typing feel is decent. A great budget choice if you can adapt to the extra keys.
